We invite you to join our Healthcare Imaging team as a Administration Assistant. This full-time career opportunity has a Monday - Friday dayshift schedule, and is located at our outpatient practice in Riverside, CA. In this medical receptionist position you'll get to:

• Answer phones and greet incoming patients and visitors. • Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients. • Maintain absolute and strict confidentiality with all material and information pertaining to all patients, personnel, and/or projects. • Create, organize, and maintain files. • Respond to questions and concerns, and/or direct to appropriate management when questions and issues go beyond your authority or impact our service. • Assist in administration, paperwork preparation and collection, and distribution of items. • Create, maintain, update, and submit various logs and reports, as well as perform data entry. • Coordinate and/or assist with meetings, presentation materials, and travel arrangements. • Process all incoming mail and faxes. • Assist management as needed with special assignments and projects. • Register patients, perform insurance verification, and collect co-pays. • Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns. • Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients. • Cross-train and help as needed in other departments (i.e. scheduling, medical records, etc). • May on occasion travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage. • Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

We're looking for dependable and professional candidates with at least 1 year of recent medical/radiology office work experience and a High School Diploma. Computer skills, medical terminology knowledge, the ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, and great communication skills are also a must!
